Style Tips for Emo Girls in the year 2008
In many ways, dressing is harder for Emo girls than it is for boys–but it can be a lot more exciting too! The main to remember is that you must dress and look non-conformist. You can dye your hair the traditional black, or go for a stark blonde. A bog-cut is also good. Another good suggestion is to get horn-rimmed glasses (no thick, black frames please). As for your clothes, for girls, skin-tight is the order of the day, regardless of how big or small you are. Generally, you should wear jeans or pants that are dark. Or, in place of pants, a goth-style skirt will work, as long as it’s tight enough. A banded-collar t-shirt is a good look to wear with the jeans or skirt. For shoes, most Emo girls go with Converses or Vans.
If you feel the urge, decorate them with pen or permanent marker. Finally, no Emo girl look is complete without black eyeliner and other dark makeup. Don’t overdo it though. These are the basics to achieve a proper Emo girl look.
